Kay Griffith Hammond, Principal, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Aquinas College in 1981 and graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1984, where she was a member of law review and an American Jurisprudence Award winner. Kay served a two-year clerkship for the Honorable Douglas W. Hillman, U.S. District Judge, in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1985, and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan, and the Northern District of Illinois. Kay has twenty-eight years of general civil, business and commercial litigation experience in state and federal courts, and she has been awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating, AV, as a pre-eminent attorney.
