Phillip S. Stenger

Phillip S. Stenger, founder and senior principal of Stenger & Stenger, is a 1985 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, with a 1985 B.B.A. degree (major in accountancy), a J.D. degree (1988), and a Masters Degree in Taxation (1992). During college and law school, Mr. Stenger served internships with two international accounting firms and has also passed all sections of the Certified Public Accountancy Examinations. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Courts of Appeal for the Sixth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuits, and various Federal District Courts. He is the only person who has ever jointly served as court-appointed United States receiver and Cayman Islands co-liquidator in international investment fraud cases.

Mr. Stenger is the author of the “Receivership Sourcebook ,” a desk reference to receivership law. He is also a Certified Creditors’ Rights Law Attorney and a member of the Creditors’ Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys.
